One of the main positive aspect to this system of marriage is that there is a profound involvement of the family as it gives parents the power to make decisions over family issues and members. Due to the fact that they are the ones who are responsible to choose the prospective bride and groom, they would chose the most suitable partner for their children. They are also responsible in planning the details of wedding events and afterwards, also helping out with their grandchildren and any needs of the couple. However, the downfall would be the fact that not all family members would get along. An uneasy relationship between two members can cause possible tension in the family.
